Are you a witty, creative, skilled writer? Your way with words inspires awe in those around you, but they still have not seen you at your best. Are you on the pulse of what is cool, new and hip in town and know what people want before they do? Your mom would call you a social butterfly, but you just think your friendly. Are you curious and interested? Are you practicing what you are learning…and constantly both practicing and learning?

We are launching a new ecommerce startup to serve the region and need someone to help us write copy that is engaging, interesting, and supremely effective in driving business goals – with wit, charm, skill and some humour.

You should have/be/do…
? Participate to brainstorming sessions
? Work on specific brand (deal) assignments
? Prepare copy for daily deals in your city in coordination with the client to create a stellar marketing vehicle
? Create secondary daily content that features on the deal email and the dedicated area of the website that aligns with the community management

Skills
You should be hands-on with content creation. That said, working at a startup means having to do a bit of everything and a lot of something. You should have clear metrics of how you have been a superstar in your past roles. No killer numbers means no interview.

? comfortable writing copy in English and Arabic
? high degrees of diligence and accountability
? ability to network, build presence, grow a profile and motivate people to action through words
