Regional Marketing Leader | Abu Dhabi, UAE

My client is a MNC and is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions. They installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient, and is a leading providing of energy efficiency solutions worldwide.

They are currently URGENTLY looking for a Regional Marketing Leader to join their team.

Reporting into the Director of Marketing for the EMEA pole, this position will provide regional leadership for the marketing function, including:

Customisation & execution of Strategic business plan initiatives within the region. Support regional leadership team in creating and deploying localized plans, linked to the global and EMEAI initiatives but incorporating local business requirements

Own Marketing/Field “connection”

Develop relationships with leaders (sales, operations, …)

Address issues related to offerings, competitiveness, strategy

Provide region-specific market intelligence and feedback

Liaise with functions on strategy and tactics

Client support for Regional General Management and leadership team

Security and Energy being identified growth areas, a candidate with a strong track record of understanding these markets will be preferred

Strong partnering skills with Marketing line of business leaders, Sales, and business management is also key to success

Requirements
Technical university degree (preferably in an engineering, economics or analytical field)

MBA marketing preferred, or equivalent experience

Business/industry knowledge (demonstrable experience in solutions and service based business, preferably building solutions)

Experience in large business organizations with matrix management structure.

Proven success leading strategic planning, growth initiative, and/or operational enhancement engagements with major clients in diverse technology and/or manufacturing driven industries.

Fluent English is a must.

The position requires significant travel around all the Middle East Region and the associated personal flexibility.
