BANGKOK – 14 March 2013: Matt Miller, President & CEO of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP), is showcasing his pick of winners from the AICP Next Awards at ADFEST 2013.
Presented by AICP, the Next Awards launched in 2007 and is considered one of the most significant emerging awards shows in the United States. The Next Awards is more than an advertising awards show – it is a platform for thought leadership and analysis, raising the bar for marketing content.
“Every year, the Next Awards seeks out work that defies convention, and effectively utilizes new technologies as well as storytelling,” says Miller.
As President and CEO of the AICP, Miller is the spokesman for more than 300 production companies in the United States. He serves on the advisory board of the Association of Film Commissions International; and sits on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Advertising Week.
Founded in 1972, the AICP represents the interests of commercial production companies in the United States, and serves as a strong collective voice for this $5.5 billion industry.
Miller’s Speaker Session, The AICP Next Awards, takes place on Monday 18th March at 3.30pm at ADFEST 2013.
Miller is also jointly hosting the World Producers Summit: Asia Pacific and Middle East Chapter, which runs on Sunday 17th March, 1pm – 3:30pm, at ADFEST 2013. The Summit will be co-hosted by Francois Chilot, President of Commercial Film Producers of Europe (CFP-E) and Young Director Award (YDA), and Managing Director, Les Producers, in France.
