The Role
Our client is the world’s second largest food company with annual revenues of $49.2 billion and they pride themselves on producing and marketing delicious foods consumers can feel good about.
Due to current expansion they are now looking to recruit a Regional Brand Manager to join the diverse workforce and flexible and autonomous, yet results driven environment that they have created in their Dubai Head Office.
With regional responsibility for the MENA & Levant Regions, and reporting to the Brand Manager your role will include but not be restricted to:
* Act as the Brand owner and develop, recommend and implement brand strategy and plans on an ongoing basis to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
* Monitor and track brands share & OC performance to identify risks & opportunities. Recommend and implement action plans to address risk or opportunities
* Develop, produce & implement world class advertising and promotions for brand and media strategies and executions to support brand.
* Ensure the delivery of the yearly activity plan on time & within budget
* Brief, agree plans & mange all ATL activities in line with brand strategy and objectives.
* Propose & gain approval from senior management to deliver Innovations programmes, including extension of current brand portfolio into new flavours / sizes and entry into new appropriate segments.
* Responsible for product / package innovations to drive down costs without jeopardising brand quality or image in the market place.
* Manage budgets effectively to maximise potential for the brands and avoid overspends.
* Brief & update the management, sales & Trade Marketing on all consumer initiative to ensure they are implemented at store level.
* Ensure logo & trademarks are used as per the brand guidelines and that all consumer contacts are in line with overall brand strategy.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years Brand Management experience working for another leading FMCG organisation, hold a Marketing degree from a reputable University and possess excellent English & Arabic communication skills. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and have a positive self starter attitude as well as possessing strong analytical and interpersonal skills. You must be able to appreciate and understand cultural differences, quickly assimilating these into marketing plans.
