Senior Brand Manager – AED 30,000 + Education, Family Tickets and Medical
Our client is a leading multinational FMCG company that owns its manufacturing plants throughout the world. Ranked in the top 5 companies in the world within its product category, they have very successfully created a strong base. As a company they manufacture a portfolio of brands that service consumer goods, private label and foodservice. As global markets change, and consumer behavior is becoming more brand aware, they are looking for a Senior Brand Manager that will define one of their leading brands on a global scale. In addition you will be responsible for another part of the brand portfolio but only for this region.
Requirements
As Senior Brand Manager you will be responsible for outlining the core brand values, developing the brand proposition and positioning the brand in the different global markets. You will need to develop clear brand guidelines for communication, packaging and other brand activations. You will need to liaise with small marketing teams located around the world to understand their local market knowledge, incorporate that information to develop a corporate brand and then ensure their buy in at a local, regional and corporate level. You will need to develop the ATL campaigns to communicate the new brand positioning. This will be an intensive process which should be run on a project base resulting in a higher work-load. You will need to manage the overall marketing budget. The other element to this role will be to drive the other brands for a smaller territory, i.e. the Middle East, Africa, India and Asia Pacific. This role requires a great deal of liaison with the VP of marketing, NPD and Advertising agencies. You must monitor brand activations for consistency and efficiency including KPI reporting.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have an excellent branding and marketing background, with at least 6 years experience, preferably with exposure to the FMCG sector. You must have strong creativity, precise planning and excellent implementation skills. You will need to multi task across a wide global territory, liaise with a wide range of marketeers and become the brand diplomat. You must have a successful track record in brand management, brand portfolio management and brand activation. You should have experience of repositioning a brand across a wide territory. This role demands someone who is results orientated, charismatic, pragmatic and with a keen visual sense. You must have fluent English and fluency in French will be a strong advantage. Experience of managing a team, with a natural ability to nurture relationships internally and externally as well as mentor and guide a team is essential.
