Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate, hungry and experienced Public Relations professional to fill the position of senior PR account director and work closely with a talented team of PR account managers and PR account executives based in our Dubai office, primarily acting as main facilitator of our B2C client accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be an advocate of Fifth Ring by developing key relationships with the clients and the account team
- Provide client counsel to the client and oversee day to day PR activities on the account
- To facilitate the delivery of key deliverables on time, within budget and to the clients satisfaction
- To support the development of this unit by growing the team and expanding existing client base
- To support all aspects of delivery
- To mentor and support account team members
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years direct PR experience is essential – ideally within agency and at least two years as a Senior PR Account Director
- English Language – fluent written and spoken
- Knowledge and experience of all things PR consumer related, ideally within the F&B, retail, fashion and leisure industries
- Knowledge of the GCC/MENA media, understanding of strategy & creativity
- Commercial awareness
- Business planning experience (ideal but not essential)
- Solid, proven, writing skills, experienced inpreparing proposals, pitches, features, white papers, creative copy and pressrelease writing
- Well net-worked (within the industry and socially)
- Ability to travel to other Emirates/countries on occasions

Start date:
Position available immediately, aim for selected candidate is in position by end December (but flexible with regards to notice periods)
