Brand Content under the spotlight at the Cristal Festival with the exceptional conferences of Peter Tortorici, CEO of GroupM Entertainment and Doug Scott, President of Ogilvy Entertainment
Peter TORTORICI, Pioneer of « Branded entertainment & Content », will be in Crans Montana on Thursday 8th December for a conference on Brands in TV programs around the world.
Peter is one of the television industry’s most respected executives and involved with some of televisions biggest hit series, he has served as President of two Broadcast Networks, taken one to #1, developed top-rated shows, and created new business ventures for some of Hollywood’s most prolific Studios and production companies.
Tortorici joined Mindshare in 2003, founding Mindshare Entertainment, and later went on to establish agency entertainment practices for all of the GroupM agencies worldwide. Currently serving as CEO of GroupM Entertainment Worldwide, Tortorici provides global leadership to GroupM’s content production, financing and distribution initiatives. He has overseen the growth of the business, which began in the US to a true global force with ongoing operations in Canada, EMEA and Asia.
He has been honoured industry wide and in particular by both AdAge and Business 2.0 for innovation, leadership and accomplishment in the emerging area of Branded Entertainment and Content. Adding to an impressive list of creative credits he most recently served as Executive Producer of We Are the World 25 for Haiti along with Quincy Jones, Lionel Richie and Academy Award winner Paul Haggis.
Doug SCOTT, has been developing and producing brand funded entertainment for clients, including The Business of Innovation for IBM, Digital Cribs for Cisco, The Invested Life for TD Ameritrade, and an animated series for Capri Sun. Before Ogilvy, Doug was co-founder of MATTER, where he developed and produced high visibility integrated marketing programs.
Early in his career, Doug was involved in launching the Hollywood Stock Exchange which was a simulated stock market where you could trade movies, stars and music properties; ArtView, a global network of galleries, auction houses and museums and the Red Herring magazine.
During the Cristal Festival and the Brand Entertainment focus to be held on Thursday 8th December, Doug Scott will share his view and experience and how digital is shaping consumer experiences, and where he finds creative inspiration.
