A leading Food & Beverage/ Restaurant Company based in Kuwait with operations all over Middle East are on a strong expansion plan in Wholesale Division, Catering Section and related Food & Beverage business. In the above role you will be in charge of sales & marketing of our bakery, pastry and food items and services to new, existing and prospective clients. Our Central Kitchen/ Bakery/ Commissary cater to high end cafes in Kuwait. You should have a strong knowledge of local competitors’ activities and provide marketing intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
• Manages key contacts including regular visits of large and prestigious customers
• Develops and maintains a regular pattern of sales calls and meetings with clients of target market
• Conducts market research and analysis and provides direction
• Grows existing business and establishes and pursues leads which will develop business
• Assists in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities
• Executes advertising/creative briefs in a timely manner
• Day to day coordination within all areas of Central Kitchen Operations
• Keeping abreast of trends and developments in the catering industry such as menus, consumer tastes and management issues.
• Planning menus in coordination with chefs
• Negotiating contracts with clients
Skills
• 3-5 years experience in a similar position in Food & Beverage, Banqueting or any related business.
• As this role requires constant communication with internal teams and clients, a strong level of negotiation and command is required
• Retail or Restaurant / Hotel experience preferable.
• Familiar with the current trends in the catering and F&B Industry
• The candidates are required to have local or GCC experience
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Self driven, motivated and results oriented
• Should be an excellent seller, highly motivated and customer service oriented with good technical knowledge.
• Should be able to form excellent relationship with customers and clients including internal F&B and support services staff.
• Food and beverage experience and knowledge in several cuisines.
• Have a valid Kuwait Driving License
Education
University degree in Business Administration/ Hotel Management or related fields
