Samsung GALAXY Gear available for UAE consumers during GITEX Shopper 2013
Wearable technology available with companion device GALAXY Note 3
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – 3 October 2013 – Samsung Gulf Electronics Co., Ltd. a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies has announced that the GALAXY Gear will be available for consumers to purchase during GITEX Shopper.
Samsung’s new wearable technology will be showcased on the Samsung stand along with its companion, the GALAXY Note 3 at the consumer technology show, which is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center from October 5th -12th.
Samsung GALAXY Gear lets consumers live in the moment while staying connected to their Samsung GALAXY devices. It notifies users of incoming messages, such as calls, texts, emails and alerts, delivers a preview of those messages. Built-in speakers allow users to conduct hands-free calls directly from the Gear, maintaining connections to their mobile communications without disrupting their daily routines. Users can also draft messages, create new calendar entries, set alarms, and check the weather on the GALAXY Gear with S Voice.
The GALAXY Gear experience can be further personalized by selecting from three colors that will be available in: Jet Black, Mocha Gray and Oatmeal Beige.
