The Role

One of the largest, international legal providers is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive. Established within the Middle East for several years, the firm is growing its business development team as a result of a more proactive approach to business development and a more demanding pitch schedule. This is a standalone position, reporting into the States and as such this is a great opportunity for a strong and experienced bid writer, looking to achieve greater exposure to a cross border / practice environment and of course a more challenging role.

The successful Business Development Executive will be responsible for developing and winning new business which is a key factor to the success of the business. You will manage the pitch process from end to end, and work and advise partners on pitch objectives. A co-ordinated and consistent approach must be adopted in the production of all pitch documents and presentations. You will also be confident in streamlining the pitch process and making it more effective as you deem fit. There will also be the opportunity to have exposure to marketing related responsibilities, making the role hugely varied.
The BD Executive will have the benefit of a great deal of resources to hand, with which to develop and grow professionally.

Requirements

The candidate must possess exceptionally strong written communication skills, a keen eye for detail.
Experience of working in a law firm or other professional services environment is preferred.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal, organisational skills and be able to forge strong working relationships with partners. Experience of the GCC region is preferable. English is essential.
