The Position:

To assist in the design, development, testing, implementation, user training & support of new systems developed (in conjunction with EGIT and/or external suppliers/consultants) to specifically meet the requirement of Procurement & Logistics.

Job Outline

* To identify needs for a new system or processes that will keep P&L abreast with best industry procurement practices that is also sustainable and meets the business needs.

* Provide first level support to business users on the Procurement and Inventory modules of Oracle e-business suite.

* Must be able to carry out system administration task by maintaining the reference data and the user access control accurately, regularly monitor the system performance and initiate corrective measure if required.

* To participate in the compilation of User Requirement Specifications of various systems or application P&L wishes to develop in contributing to functional requirements.

* Prepare test plans for user acceptance testing, perform the testing, report the deviations through proper documentation and ensure the system delivery as per the specifications.

* Work closely with P&L users, EGIT, Consultants, Vendors, Line sections and other service departments in the roll out of enhancements and/or new systems to ensure proper & successful implementation.

* Prepare necessary training plans for the planned releases of the systems and set up a procedure for identifying the users and their training requirement on an ongoing basis.

* Provide training / support to Senior Managers and generate ad-hoc reports.

* Recommend system enhancements to meet the changing requirements of the business.

* Discuss with concerned line-sections / external service departments for the improvement, design solutions and get implemented as appropriate.
