The Role
Our client based in Abu Dhabi is focused on managing commercially viable investments that deliver returns whilst working to ensure economic diversification within the Emirate.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Group Communications, the CSR professional appointed will be required to manage the development and implementation of a viable sustainability strategy that is aligned to both current and future business objectives.
Once appointed the role will take on responsibility for;
• Developing a sustainability strategy to fit across diverse industry sectors whilst balancing both social and economic returns
• Shaping the corporate culture by making sustainability central to the business at all levels and across each function
• Drive complex transformational programs
• Be an advocate for change, internally and externally
Requirements
The successful candidate will have;
A business related degree
Worked extensively within the field of CSR or will have significant experience delivering within a business transformation/change management role where worked has been directly linked to sustainability.
Experience of establishing meaningful partnerships both internally and externally
A clear understanding of how business is done in the emerging, global low carbon economy and how that differs from the traditional way of doing business. They also will have worked in more than one industry sector, having worked for a number of corporate or perhaps in a conglomerates with multi-industry groups.
