Job Description

Brought about by international expansion and increasing workload, a client facing ambitious and enthusiastic Account Manager is required, based in Dubai. You will responsible for working within a multi-disciplinary team of specialists serving our well established client base throughout the Middle East and overseas primarily in the energy sector, but within other key B2B verticals as well.

You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts. The right person will be a results driven team motivator and the successful applicant will work with some of the most innovative thinkers in marketing in an integrated environment that cultivates and rewards real talent.

Key responsibilities:

• Identifying our clients’ real needs, delivering the appropriate balance of integrated communication solutions and getting remunerated profitably for that.
• Ensure each client’s interests are looked after, as well as our own, and they are serviced in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
• To support account directors in the management of client accounts.
• To mentor and support account executives and other team members too ensure they work to business processes.
• Liaise with media buyers and publications as necessary to attain the best possible rates for our clients, aiming to reach the highest number of people in the target audience at the lowest possible cost.
• Manage Advertising budgets on behalf of clients.
• Create media plans for presentation to client and book media as required.
• Process all Design and Production Billing each month.
• Constantly looking for new business opportunities, as well as Contributing to new business pitches
• Ensures awareness of happenings within the clients industries / technical developments

Desired Skills & Experience

• Degree in marketing or relevant related subject
• Relevant experience within a Senior Account Executive or Manager role
• Preferably with Agency experience
• Great project management and writing skills
• Experience in maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities
• Commercial understanding of client/agency relationships
• Performance and Commercial awareness – gross expenditure & account profitability
• Excellent creative thinking skills
• Multi lingual
• Experience of working overseas
• Time management
• Delegation skills
• Mentoring of Account Execs
