The Role
Our client, an integrated multinational communications agency is looking to recruit a Media Relations Manager.
Based in Dubai and reporting to the PR Account Director, you will be responsible for Media Relations for IT and Telco clients. This role will mainly be phone based and you should be comfortable building a network of key personnel over the telephone. You will manage the relationships with journalists, and work with media relations and other communication colleagues from across the Group. You will also support the media relations teams in planning and execution of key events and PR campaigns. Additionally, you will help to ensure daily delivery of press briefings for leadership and for Management Meeting. You will need to follow up on press releases and review and update information, in various management reports.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have a passion for Media Relations and have worked in a PR agency for at least 2 years. You must speak Arabic for this role and be based in Dubai already. Finally you must be comfortable talking on the phone for 50% of your time. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow within the agency fast.
